Say how many cups you want while you order. Asking at the window after the bag is closed is how you get a no or a wait.
Which sauces exist is the menu. Sweet and sour is the cup people hoard.
Loaded fries already include toppings. Asking for extra ranch on those can still add a cup charge.
Count cups on the receipt. A fight about “free sauce” is usually about the second and third cup, not the one that came with a 4-piece. Franchise policy is not printed in a way that helps you at the window. Ask during the order, not after the bag is stapled.
Signature sauce lives on sandwiches first. Some stores will portion it as a dip if you ask before the bag closes. It is not ranch, not BBQ, and not ghost pepper ranch. Those are different wells.

Party packs need more cups than you think
Order extras on the party-pack item. Tossed sauce is not a dipping cup.
Sandwich sauce versus a dipping cup
Mayo, ketchup, mustard, and signature sauce on a burger are part of that sandwich’s price. A ranch cup for fries is a separate line when they charge for it. Say the sandwich name first, then the swap. Burgers if you wanted printed builds instead of the well.
Loaded fries already include toppings. Asking for extra ranch on Baconator Fries can still add a cup charge. Sides lists those builds.
A 30-second check before you pull in
Pick your restaurant in the app, then look at three things: whether breakfast is still on, whether Offers has a deal for that store, and whether the item you drove over for still has a tile.
If anyone in the car has a food allergy, say it at the speaker and still treat every fryer as shared. Cooking oils explains why that matters more than the ingredient list.
Wrong food in the bag goes to that restaurant first, then to official guest care with your order number. We cannot remake a Baconator from a laptop.
